If Fleet and Wait dont play Gordon is the devils only big man up forward. O'Gorman has kicked a few of late but he will be suspended, devils gonna have to dig deep.

Silky Skills - I'm not out for a verbal stoush, but stop 'trolling' across posts and bagging clubs, that's not what forums are about. You dislike a club, one comment, fine. But to bag a club coinsistently, and some of it's stalwarts is gutless. Especially when you don't even read post names properly. Again, take my post name off the Thunder one or I'll get in touch with a moderator.

ive enjoyed joining this forum being from interstate and a past hills player for 20 years BUT why does a "B"grade side and that be it IRONBANK get so much attention. when i played ironbank it was just a blimp on the radar surely they havnt improved to the powers of lobethal ,mt.barker and hahndorf and others. has much changed to the oval or is it the same one we played cricket on. surely we are here to discuss mainly the "A" grade in both divisions with a little bit of the other grades and how the clubs are going on the side :D

Magpie that is how a forum works. That was the topic of the day and its up to other forum players to pass comment on other issues as they see fit. Yes IB still use the same oval, that is the one where I probably put you over the fence a few times !! As for Lobethal, Mt Barker and Hahndorf being powers of the comp you have obviously been away for sometime. Times have changed my friend.

Dig a bit, yeah. But they've BY FAR been the biggest scoring side this year. A lot of goals come from all over the place. They have options that may not be big, but they're definite options.
I doubt Fleet would be risked.

Forum ... while the focus is centred on the big game at Uraidla, don't forget there are two other equally important clashes. Mt Barker and Hahndorf is pivotal to both sides' chances of making the finals. The two arch rivals will stage a no holds barred battle. Me thinks that the Magpies may just have an edge, given Stephens and Stansborough are quality players, while to have Daniel Roberts back from League experience at the Eagles can only be a bonus. Rumors persist that D. Murphy may try and play with a suspect knee, given the importance of the game, while the tribunal will deal with Foster and young Willy after their run-in with Matt Thomas. Has makings of a great match, with Mounts particulary facing judgement day. The other big game is at Ironbank, and no ... not the B-grade! ... Blackwood needs a win to keep last-gasp finals hopes alive, while the Thunderers are ending their season. We all know the two clubs have a solid rivalry and there will be no prisoners taken ... specially for Ironbank. Chance for one last glory and maybe hand spoon to Raiders. Could Brad Smith be a key? ... Could Brad Smith play? ... Can Tarque deliver a few closing 'winter' bouncers? ... all questions to be answered at the picturesque Thunder Park.

What happened to Wait?

As far as i know, Wait isn't carrying any injuries, just a case of the flu on the weekend, I would expect him back.

Dale - O'Gorman had a fair crack at the Lobey shit stirrer, good to see as well, got carded and sent off for 15 minutes, so automatic 1 game suspension.

Lobey player should have been sent off well before that...no justice.
BM - fair point. Mt Barker are so bloody unpredictable. Depending what happens to Lobey (bye??), Blackwood can't make it, can they? Or is it a case of needing the lowest percentage out of that lot (Hahndorf I think) to lose this week and get another schalacking at the hands of Lofty last game...twists...

I think Lobey should get that final spot, as they impressed me on the weekend, the team in 5th should not be ther just to make up the numbers and i think lobey will push mt lofty, uri's and onkas the most out of all the other teams.

I think if Lobey get everyone on the park, they can challenge these top 3 teams, the talent such as sudjai and coady will leave a lot of teams scratchin their heads come finals time........if they can make it

On their day, maybe. Cook was good on the weekend, but should have been marked tighter.
Coad was held very well and I'd imagine with a half decent fullback, would struggle.

theres no doubt that loby have enough talent to be very competitive come september...ledge king is unstoppable and i dont think id be far off the mark in saying if they make the finals, how well they do will be determined by how well he and coad play

Loby have a bye this week and play Uraidla the last game. Thats why they played the game of their life saturday. They will rely on other teams to lose to stay in the five. I think you will find the umpires made the game a little closer than it should have been.
As for number 45 Schultz from Loby. Im sure everyone in the league would be happy to see him get knocked out on a weekly basis. Two weeks ago when he punched a first game senior colt from Mount Barker in the head behind play and kicked Sam Broadbridge in the head while he was on the ground. Couldn't happen to a better bloke. Rumour is he said to the lofty bloke before he hit him do you want a shot at the title. I guess the title goes to the lofty guy. Rumours are when he finally got up off the ground he was crying.

Probably was crying, and he wouldn't have known where he was either.
Gutless wonder, can't belive it didn't happen previously. And i can't believe the umpires missed his antics too.
The umpiring was pretty average at Heathfield...my theory is, if you take a few steps, and during the tackle you don't dispose of it properly ie the ball just falls, THAT'S HOLDING THE BLOODY BALL! Happened about 5 times on Saturday.

JJ i am i just airing my opinion, if you dont like my opinion use another forum. Im guessing you are from Mount lofty, because the only people to rate those brothers or cousins or what ever they are come from mount lofty. I remember a full forward from Hahndorf back in 92/93 (Brenton Jench) saying and i quote "After the huddle split up, i would jog down to full forward, hoping that leith dawes was on me, because if he was i new i was in for GREAT DAY"
