How does anyone lose control of a car in the city at 50-60 kmh in dry conditions? I hope he and his passengers recover and the authorities discover the cause of this "accident"

Trent is doing alot better. He is very sore at the moment, and will have a long way to go, but is getting better every day.
He and his family are very disappointed with the comments in the paper that insinuated that his mates that were in the car were doing nothing to help him.
Very disappointing that (a) the guy being interviewed would say that they were doing nothing, and (b) the paper would print it.

Mind you Slots, this is the same paper that wrote in the article that the car involved was a Holden, but the picture clearly showed it was a Ford

I know one of the other lads in the car well, and i can assure everyone they would have been doing everything they could to help Trent.

They also said that he suffered 60% burns and it was 30%.

Its a long road ahead, but he is one of the most determined 17 year olds going around and i am sure will get through it.

Trent has now been moved out of the icu unit and into the burns unit. Is currently communicating with his family so a good recovery is promissing.

i have been asked to clarify a few details. trent is 16, it was his car, 30% burns not 60 and speed was not a factor.

Sounds different to what i heard and that was a broken wrist/hand but i guess it is a case of chinese whispers. Hopefully all the boys involved will make a full and speedy recovery.
