So too was 'The 9 Lives of Fritz the Cat'...
Funny thing is Fritz's creator Robert Crumb wanted nuffin to do with the animated features!

Smoo was a cartoon character from the early eighties who was a small white thing that looked a lot like those white Herculiods.

It’s amazing how many cartoons & sitcoms borrow heavily from ‘The Honeymooners’ starring Jackie Gleason.
Most of my favourites have been mentioned, but does anyone remember some of these very early good and
not so good cartoons:

Crusader Rabbit, Hercules, Clutch Cargo, Mighty Mouse, Beanie & Cecil, Spunky & Tadpole,
Sherman & Peabody (with the ‘Wayback Machine’), Fractured Fairy Tales (by Edward Everitt
Horton), Courageous Cat & Minute Mouse. Although Warner Brothers were way ahead of
everyone with their Marx Brothers style of wit, Disney’s cartoons had their moments too.

If I had to pick an all time favourite, it’s gotta be ‘Coyote & Roadrunner’.
I want some of those ACME products, especially the Instant Earthquake Pills.
What were the slogans ? ……”Be Popular !” …..” Impress Your Friends !” …… ”Hours Of Fun !” ...
...“Be The Life Of The Party !”
Classic stuff, please make more ..... [-o<

Warner Bros. and classic Simpson's are timeless.

Bully for Bugs is probably my favourite cartoon of all-time...

Both of the above I don't think were ever cartoons in their own right, but always as part of the Rocky and Bullwinkle series.

I still enjoy watching them from time to time :D
