I concur with Torrentleech as a top site.

I have only downloaded about 50gig from there, but as with Wedgie I have never had a dud from that site - DS games, movies, TV shows, a couple of Wii games lately as well.

Thanks to Wedgie for the invite to that one!

Which site are you getting them from?

Either TorrentPortal (which has lots of duds) or Mininova.

Best you get an account at a decent site like torrentleech.org

I get 95% of my stuff from them and its all good stuff with not one dud.
(They have music, movies, tv shows, computer programs, games for every console and PC, ebooks, basically everything! - They even have an associated porn torrent site when they split porn up from the site called pussytorrents)
Ive downloaded a total of 551 gig from that one site alone!
(torrentleech that is, not pussytorrents)

The only 2 other sites I use are:
http://special.pwtorrents.net/
(pro wrestling torrents)

I just checked at torrentleech.org and for me to get 2 invites I'd have to donate $50 so if anyone wants an invite and are prepared to part with $25 let me know. I can tell you its well worth it, Im sure any others who have an account with them would agree, I think the fact that Ive downloaded more than half a terrabyte with them speaks for that, if I had to Id pay a couple of hundred bucks for an account with them.

http://diwana.org
(Aussie and UK stuff)

I'd be interested in that.

Do you have to do anything to your Wii console to play those games?

Yes, it needs to be chipped. Plenty of places in SA (fully guaranteed) do it for the price of less than 3 games too.

$110 it cost for mine, well worth it as I can now play backed up copies of the games I purchase.

They will remove the chip should you need to make a warranty claim to Nintendo as well (apparently the Wii has no warranty seals so they won't know if it has been chipped if there is no chip in it).

For those that loved the War of the Worlds album, the DVD release of the musical is also available from their European tour.
It has Jeff Wayne conducting and Justin Hayward singing etc and the concert is absolutely brilliant.
If anyone wants the public tracker to download this, PM me and I'll send it through.
The file is 1.8gig, an AVI file but audio and video is 10/10 perfect.

Ive had my machine re-built and need to re-d/l and install Vuse ... However as part of the installation process you now have to SMS a certain number to receive an install code ... Anyone done this? I'd hate to receive a charge for some crazy amount?

Nah, I gave up on Vuze and use U-Torrent, I'd recommend you do too. Quicker and more efficient.

Mininova is like a google for torrents and youll get very slow speeds as youre connecting to torrents that have a lot more leechers than seeders.
To get great speeds youll need to find a good private torrent site which ensure everyone has a good upload and download ratio.
For Underbelly episodes Id recommend diwana.org which has heaps of Aussie stuff.
