1.Brisbane
2.Fremantle
3.West Coast
4.Port
5.Essendon
6.Melbourne
7.North Melbourne
8.Adelaide

Thought I'd submit my "muck around" top eight seeing REB started it by putting Port second.

Who, me? Image

twenty goals

No seriously think about it. This year a fully fit Chornes will be the recruit of the year. He played 13 matches last year with one hand but even a player supremely qualified to perform one handed tasks has to struggle to play AFL football one handed. A heap of other blokes also had a visit to the Medical room when all of the other sides were slugging it out for a spot in the eight. Port will be one of the best prepared teams for this season. Add to that the difference in the draw between this year and last year and I think Port will be a bolter. Port are always a side that has been an excellent front runner. When your mongrels get a sniff that Albertogance comes back and suddenly your boys are ten feet tall. Have a look at the Hawks first few games, their early draw is horrendeous. Port will be off to a flyer so those close home losses will be turned around to comfortable home wins.

So you should be sorry for calling Voss a dumbass. One of the greats of the game. I'm actually excited to see how Brisbane perform under him this year. You're right about their defence though. Alot of young blokes running around back there, but they'll get better.

Of course they bloody won't. You were hanging on for dear life last season. It's over. Especially as Roosy hasn't recognised it yet.

It's tough because you have to assume 100% fitness of each team's best side. Plus I think you can throw a blanket over 10 sides, they are very even IMO. It will come down to (as usual) injuries and the draw.

Anyway my guess (possible bias included):

Hawthorn
Geelong
Bulldogs
NM
St Kilda
Carlton
Adelaide
Brisbane
-----------------
Richmond
Collingwood
Port
Sydney
Ess
WC
Freo
Melb
In between signatures .....
