BOG to Auto for a chanceless, elegant 14 and some of the best diving, full length reflex catches your ever likely to see........ oh and someone named Giggs got 5/2 or something. Trimmer was serviceable too with 45 not out. ;)

In all honesty a very hard fought win.

Mawson Lakes North over Methos by about 17 or so runs.

In an even closer game Rose Park defeated NEK on the last ball of the day to win!, chasing down 245

Gee, a few upsets in Div 1. Probably the most exciting season for awhile I would say. Good for the comp.

It appears BB continues with his dominance over Para Vista. It was of no surprise to me that he indeed took to the bowling crease yesterday and dominated. Is there some sort of psychological element he has over them? I think so.

Fair bit of news around..... NOT. With 1st 2nd and 3rd all losing this week, the race to make the top four is getting pretty tight. I guess the Para Vista boys have been advised not to come on this site, but....

One of the funniest things ever to happen on a cricket field on sat (sorry Walter if your reading this!!!)...apart from spintwin playing some actual cricket shots and looking like a batsmen...was walter under a high ball and totally missing the ball, having it smash straight into his glasses and then hit the ground....Spintwin capitalised on his chance going on to make a very elegant 38. Unlucky not to make his second 50 for the year.

very ordinary game indeed. neither team will win finals playing poo cricket like that....apart from trimmer with some scintaliating shots (as much as it pains me to say that). very much a game of poor batting and some decent bowling. Vista boys quite tight all day.

dunno if their team was undermanned??? anyone from vista care to comment??

and damn rose park and pawaowie for winning!!! we were hoping to have 2 games clear!!! jesus, its gonna be close right to the last game---unless roys beat methos (as they will), and rose park and powowie lose.

either way, i wouldnt put money on anyone at this stage. the bottom 3 teams have a fire in the belly, and the top 3 need to consolidate come finals time.

a nice pitch helps....the pitch is raised about 8m from the crease....prime spot for bouncer to rip off at a good pace.

...nearly drew blood, i think the glove got in the way of the nose....was hoping !
