As a Henley boy - wondering how Pitt, Talbot, Stretch March and the great man Hart are progressing for the new season.
Dont get to see many of them these days but how are they all going at the new Sharks. Our former B Grade Coach and
superstar Harty would be a sensation down there I bet. Hopefully they are all giving you good service this year like the last few
and hopefully Harty has achieved his goal of being the great coach in your league as well.

Last time we spoke with harty he was struggling with injury last year which was no good. Certaintly a 80 goal full forward for
you guys this year if you can keep him injury free. Great player

yeh mate, the hart-throb was a good player for us. but he and pitty arent with us anymore. harty has gone to Mclaren Vale to be an assistant under Steve Hill over there, and pitty has either gone elsewhere to play, or isnt playing at all. we still have the march man, he's been training well, and is keen to get his fitness up and crack back into A grade this year, after only playing 1 game in the 1's last year, but having a decent year in the magoos, coming 5th in the Mail Medal, and that was after missing 7 games with a hip (i think?) injury.

I drove past the oval today and couldnt believe how dry its looks, is it as hard as it looks and do you have a sprinkler system or are the council just waiting for rain.

yeh, the oval is probably the worst i've seen it in my 6 or 7 years down here. there is sprinklers, but i dunno what the go is. it's shocking, and there will probably be a few sore bodies as we draw closer to round 1 after a full on preseason on that deck.

Keep the heavy roller (jj) off might help a bit!

Hey all, long time no see. How's everything going? I drove past Shark Park recently, quite a few out at training, good to see! Best of luck for 2009. :)

By the way, have you guys got an away game against Reynella this year? If so, I'm there.

Could actually see them knock the Wineys over on that day too, Fisho !
My gut feeling is the Sharks will be inflicting some upsets this year, and finish pretty close (or maybe even inside) the Eight.

We appreciate the support BTP. Baby steps at this stage and bridging the gap on the top sides is certainly a priority and hopefully on the way to that we are close enough and fit enough come the final siren to snag some of the close ones we lost last year.

Ha ha thanks Mum, yeah he has a fair mullet that's for sure. He came out with the longest side burns it was hilarious. It's easy to style, you just let him vomit then roll in it and it's like glue

All is good though thank you we are just indoors enjoying air conditioning and praying we don't get the black outs.

I hear numbers are great at McLaren which is good to hear, not a training below 43, pretty impressive.

That would be quite a large turnaround, 23 goals in fact!
