We made 118, the big whale took 5. I don't know how.
Then you guys were 0/80 with wescombe and murpy making 30's, but we took 7 for bugger all through the middle order and you got home with 2 wickets and 1 over to spare.
Good game, bit of chat, Murphy was an annoying bloke, but Zwecky played for us and knew a few blokes, and a few other blokes knew eachother so was played in pretty good spirits.
LBW law is a bit contentious, both sides gave a few and didn't get a few - leads to frustrations!

yeah true, how many wickets did Jeff get?

He only got 1, but bowled better than that. He's generally too good/quick for this comp, seems to never get edges.
Softened Murphy up beautifully after drinks, hit him with a couple of bouncers, then bolwed the old man as he was backing away, classic!

Noticed in the Hope Valley v Trinity game that Jeff Vaughan scored 117*. Pretty sure that is the first century made in the ATCA 20/20 comp.

Simon Misso (goodwood) made 123 off around 40 balls with 15 sixes and 6 fours, against Pooraka in one of the 20/20 semi finals in the season before last. Was a pretty decent knock. Followed it up in the GF with a golden duck.

Goody 1's team has been the full A Grade team minus Shane Martin and Mick Harden ( two fair outs).

Goody 2's team has 7 B Graders and 4 C Graders.

Which side is Potts in? It amazes me that he isn't a regular A grader for Goodies. Is it a club or personal decision?

Pottsy has played plenty of A Grade, and scored something like 6000 runs for the club. He was happy captaining the B Grade and because of this the A grade skipper didnt think he wanted to play. It is only recently that he has started playing in the ones again, and it is no surprise that he has made a few runs. his technique can be sloppy but his eye more than makes up for it. One of the best blokes you will ever meet too.

He is in the Goody 1 team for the 20/20, captained them yesterday.

Would have more to do with the teams they have played i imagine. Some sides are almost full strength A grade sides and others are made up of lower grade players or even very very part time players.

Possibly the difference between the two sides?????

You guys rolled our C grade , which was undermanned at the time and should have put us away with an outright win , but where clearly outplayed on the second day losing 7 / 40 and then couldnt get a wicket in our second dig until the game was called off , I just find it hard for you to say that jeff vaughan was possibly the difference between the two sides when you are a C1 team.
