I don't think the 300 is possible now, Australia need about 10 runs an over to get it.

I think the 270/280 mark is more realistic.

Australia have taken their batting power play.

We need 10 runs an over off this power play.

I would like to see Ryan Harris get a bat, interesting to see how he will go.

4/196 from 40 overs.

Not actually all that good with the bat, good bowler who occasionally gets a 20 or 30

Big trouble now. It's like we've forgotten how to play one day cricket - not seeming to use the right plans or set the right targets.

We have forgotten pretty quickly, 10 overs ago we were in a good position to make 300, now we will struggle to 250!!

A very ordinary last 10 overs by the Aussies who appear as though they have thrown away a chance to set a imposing target.

Nothing worse than watching a team play below itself. Memories of Adelaide and West Coast at Subi flooding back ahead of the footy season.

I'm not sure if this team's playing below itself.
I think it's more of a case of finding itself.
The names have been around for a while but now more's expected of them as players start to settle.
This is a different line-up.

The bowling line-up interests me - the boys have played a bit of one day stuff between them but would this (or friday night's attack) be the least experienced attack in regards to tests we've had for a while, or ever?
Friday night - Bracken, Tait, Hilfenhaus, White, Hopes - 12 tests behind them.
Add Harris who is playing today.
It tells a bit about the divergence the game is taking.
Add that to the fact that Warner, as a batsman, is a star in the making and he's yet to play a first class game.
Interesting times in cricket selection.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

You raise some good points, this is a different overall makeup to what we've seen but the lack of displayed intent with the bat has still been disappointing for mine.

9/249 after 50 with Harris caught off the last ball. Here's hoping our attack can do the job.
