The Vegetable you won't eat.?

Anything!

Forgot to add olives...always make me retch and can't eat anything that's swimming in olive oil or any other oil for that matter.

Don't mind raw spinach but don't like it cooked when it goes slimey.

Olives are a fruit!
Kinda reminds me of the age old joke...

Why is Popeye's old fella all slimy?
Coz he dipped it in Olive Oyl!

Yes they are a fruit but as they're always used as a vegetable like tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers and courgettes, among others, they should count on here.

The vegetables I won't eat? The two-veg with the meat in between ;)

Seriously though, I'll eat any veggies that aren't overcooked. I find steaming works well with most.

Brussels Sprouts? Love 'em raw. Also raw pumpkin, Kent variety in particular, which I find has a pleasant, "nutty" flavour uncooked.

Daughter, 10 & 1/2 months, will eat cauliflower, beans, sweet-peas and potatoes by herself. Still a bit hazardous trying anything smaller just yet (peas, for example).

Son, nearly six, turns his nose up at most veggies but loves his carrots, as well as (using a bit of licence here) baked-beans and rice.

The missus will eat (but not always enjoy) most veggies but can't stand squash.

Though fair to say most of us would benefit from a generous serving every now and then.

I did hear someone on a show a while back who said that when kids reach a certain age, usually the time they would normally start eating solid food and learn to walk, their taste buds change for a few years so that most veg tastes very bitter especially greens. Apparently they reckoned this was supposed to be a throw back to times when humans foraged for food as natures way of stopping them from eating poisonous plants. Would kinda make sense as most parents I've known reckon their kids suddenly turn off veg when they reach toddlerhood.

Our's is a big bill as well, both, but in particullar our son eat loads of fruit and veg. As a toddler though, he would only eat the "leaves" off the brocoli and not the "branches"
