Has anyone heard about the big fire approaching port lincoln.

anyone got any info on it?

It's big and fiery???

Nah, Can see a mass of black smoke from my work, but someone came in and said it was heading towards Tulka???

Its burning up the new dump as we spaek heading south to the sea. 3 houses are gone! tuna factories look in trouble down there. just dont need the S-W change to blow it into town!!!!!

the tiser website says its about 2km from the centre of town. which would be about right amongst the fish factories

supposedly hasnt crossed western approach road, dump gone, fish factories in doubt and houses along the proper there also looking bad.
hopefully wind swing will turn it back onto itself and burn out. more likely head toward town i think.

Apparently wind is going to turn west (back to PL), and the Tennant st area might be getting evac'd...
don't know how accurate that is...

One of Lukins factories is crisped. couple of houses in danger as I watch the fire come down the hill, plenty of help there to save them by the looks. Smoke is the main thing, it is terrible. wind is now swinging?
