Thanks Ted looking at that you would have to say that Mt Lofty and Hahndorf should fight it out in the G.F.

$800 aint massive for Central Division as I understand a certain club in Div 2 have a couple of players getting more than that!

Uri's have also picked up a ruckman from North Adelaide and won't be far away at the end of the season.

I understand Lobethal are hopeful of getting several players back from Norwood Under 19's but then heard another rumour that those guys were training with Birdwood.

I thought the ruckman they picked up was Down? Is there another one?

Nope. Down is the only ruckman we've picked up BP.

Klun would just about play for nothing. He loves that club, Even while playing for the Eagles he was at the Onkas clubrooms after every game.

Uraidla have also picked up Price as well as a returning regular goal kicker Joel Brown. Should see them improve from last yrs performance.

Hard to see the top 5 from last year changing from what I've read on this Forum . Dont think the sides below will improve enough to knock any out.

Didn't know Tod Price was heading back up the hill. That is a massive recruting coup if that's the case. Still wouldn't be sure about Joel Brown yet.

Not the right Price there Ted, very close though. Related to T. Price and by the sounds still a very capable footballer. Ur spot on about Brown though, needs to have his head in the right place before he comes back. Joels been hittin the weights and already put on a few kgs.

I think you'll find that a number of Div 1 Clubs are waiting on decisions from players. I'm aware of two Clubs who are waiting on as many as 8 players to advise them of their playing intentions for 2009. Obviously with pre-season training starting, the time for these players to make up their minds is now.

It's a great time to be a useful player, cause there are Clubs all accross the State competing with each other for signatures. One Football Director for a HFL Div 1 Club has told me that it's not unusual to be talking to one player and being able to hear the call waiting signal as other Clubs are also trying to get through.

Anyway, in two weeks, more ins/outs will be revealed - some of them quite interesting.
