I'd be surprised to see Tait selected for any tour some time soon, not reliable enough.

One problem 2 off spinners in the side. You need a specialised wrist spinner as well may be at the moment my pick will be McGain if fit or casson. Need a specialised wrist spinner because warnie took a lot of wickets in england.

I know he's not reliable enough injury wise but he would tear the Poms apart over there with his pace and swing. He'll get picked.

Yes thats who I meant, a big smokey and i havnt looked at his stats at all but the couple of times have seen him bowl on fox in the FR cup he swung the ball a mile at good pace. If we are looking for someone to swing the ball in England this guy is the one.

This is hard because of Jacques' and McGain's injuries. Anyway my guess:

Batsman (8) - Hayden, Katich, Ponting, M Hussey, Clarke, Symonds, Rogers, D Hussey
Keepers (2) - Haddin, Manou
Spinners (2) - Krejza, Cullen
Fast bowlers (4) - Lee, Clark, Johnson, Siddle
Bowling all rounder (1) - Watson

The hardest to pick are the second keeper, second opener & second spinner (assuming Krejza wasn't a one test wonder). In fact, I would almost pick someone like Magoffin instead of Cullen and let Kat, Roy and Clarke be the second spinner. That puts a huge expectation on Krejza though.
I very much like your squad Hondo but a friend who mixes high up in cricket circles hears the original Warne heir apparent in Cullen is very much out of favour with ACA and the selectors. I hear they are a little bemused at his general demeanor and attitude in the change room and needs to learn there's no "I" in team. Make of that what you will. I'd sugget White is the alternative.

Well CA is thinking of taking as few as 13 players for the 4 tour matches and 5 tests.
With the possible make-up of 4 players to come from Australian players already playing in county cricket to fill in for the tour games

what a cost cutting exercise    taking 13 to england is ridiculous, we then get the problem of a couple of injuries and players have to be flown from home, out of form from not playing for a few weeks etc etc. seems to me the C.A. is in a tad of turmoil at the minute

Actually, here we go, how about 13 man squad. Which means you have to pretty much pick your starting 11 as well.

1. Katich
2. Rogers
3. Ponting
4. Hussey
5. Clarke
6. D.Hussey
7. Haddin
8. Johnson
9. Lee
10. Siddle
11. Hilfenhaus

12. Hughes
13. Bollinger

Now in saying that, lets have the following playing county cricket at the same time!
14. Jacques
15. Hauritz
16. Klinger
17. North
18. Krezja
