The Australia of old would stand firm and force this to a draw. Of course we know Hayden, Hussey and Ponting will be gone inside the first 10 overs of our second dig...whenever that is.

Mitch is bowling really well here, admire his heart. Also this just in - possible stress fracture to the foot of Brett Lee.

Is it mean, and low to not be disappointed by that news?

The Hilf comes in, thank goodness. And Symonds can go too, Watto would've been perfect right now.

No it's not mean it's just being a very very ordinary bloke. FFS after all the crap you have had to take about your man crush Watto you would think you'd have a bit more sense than that. What an ordinary thing to say about a guy who has taken 300 wickets for his country. Yeah lets bring Watto in with his wonderful record in Test cricket. That will make all the difference

Mate, Lee's been a champion but he's ridiculously out of form. I know it's a harsh comment but the guy has been near useless for the past 8 tests and is doing this team no favours at all. If he's out we'll get an IN FORM bowler instead.

Cut the rubbish and emotioanl tripe, you know I'm right.

It is about the only way that Hilfenhaus could get an entry into the team, they don't seen keen on picking him in the side otherwise.

Symonds has now bowled 8 to 10 overs on the trot, obviously he is fit to bowl so why wasn't he used until the 124th over

It's not emotional crap. I am not suggesting Lee is bowling well or should be retained in the side if fit or not but to be happy about an injury is absolutely f*cked up. Bad bloke sums you up well.

As well as Siddle bowled yesterdy he has been dissapointing today. He has been well down on pace and has only now increased the pace. What happens? A wicket. He could be a very good bowler but he needs to produce the intensity throughout the match not just occasionally.
