Aussies look very flat today, Lee evidently has a bad ankle and can't bowl

Australia picked an "all-rounder" who they knew couldn't bowl, and they're paying for it now. If Watson was playing, they could have attacked from ball 1 this morning rather than play for the new ball. If Symonds can't bowl, his batting isn't good enough to keep him in the team.

Selection was the probelm but I am heading out to throw some money on RSA, currently $10. to win, reckon that is great odds

Well just woke up from a big night and expected to find us in our second dig with the Saffers all out for around 220-230 and I find they're only 90 behind!!

Feels like our chances of winning are slipping away.

I think every poster in here would have made runs against us today  . We have bowled very poorly after yesterdays fantastic effort with the ball. To win this game we really need to get the two wickets and maintain a 75 run lead and set them 400 odd with 4 sessions to get it. Lets hope the decision to take injured players in doesn't come back to bite us on the bum.

I just cannot believe I'm seeing this. How could we not force the issue with 7 down? Also this is where the lack of a Krejza-style big spinning delivery hurts, although the runs he'd have conceded by now would no doubt hurt more.

We're in MASSIVE trouble for the rest of the match. We've effectively got three bowlers given there's no Lee and almost certainly no Symonds.
