I was the first to vote fantastic.

Dog_ger the optomist.

Everyday seems to improve.

Unfortunately my arthritis he deteriorated but I survived.

2008 was the best year yet (for me).

Even better than 2007 would you believe.

2009 will even surpass this....!
Smile :)

Good and Bad for mine, the teams i support did pretty sh1t and i had a pretty bad year at school.

It would have been a really good year for me, after a bad one in 2007, had not my wife died in October - so that made it "good and bad" for me.

Im content, work was good, family all good, went overseas with my missus, went to the Bledisloe cup with a few mates and my youngest son (19) is just about to move out of home, so just me and the missus at home 8)
only tempered by the sudden deaths of two close mates from heart related illnesses/conditions in there mid 40's, makes you take a close look at yourself

Have to pick Good and Bad. The year as a whole was mostly bad for a few reasons but the last few weeks of the year have been made very, very good by some wonderful online friends who made things so much better without even knowing it.

I went for pretty good

2007 was horrible :(

2008 was much, much better,
My husband bulged 3 discs early in the year and could not even walk, and I thought here we go again, however, he came good with rest.
He now has a good job, which pays the bills...lol.
My eldest boy turned 18, has a stable apprenticeship and a very nice girlfriend O:)
My 16 year old daughter is a blessing @};-
My 13 year old (although somewhat wearing!! lol) is very smart and very helpful to me most of the time especially at the footy club (*)
And I had a nice year, loved helping out the local footy club and bowling club and feel very lucky to be blessed with lots of really good friends.

We have all come out the other end healthy and happy and I know there are others out there much worse off than us, so yes I feel very blessed O:)

So yeah, was a really good year.... my slogan for 2008 this time last year was "2008 is going to be great" because I couldn't bear another 2007 !!

And it came true.

So here's to 2009.....

I need a 2009 slogan :-k

2008 wasn't too bad I suppose, apart from one of the biggest things in your life, your career...

Work was crap and I hated it, wanting a new job...

The missus and I set a date for our wedding (so 2009 is going to be HUGE !!!)

I was lucky enough to be able to do some work in the media (and win an award !!)

My golf handicap came down a few strokes...

The Doggies won another premiership...

Overall cant complain too much, but looking forward to a bigger and better 2009...

Voted fantastic.

Only worked for 20 days of the whole year.
Got paid leave for 4 months.
Travelled overseas for 7 months, including 14 countries.
Did many things from my 'bucket list'.
Moved into a nice rental place.
Being out of the country for most of the footy season I was fortunate enough to miss most of North's worst season since 2003.
Dropped between 8-10 kgs.
