Every year before the Perth test the media generally pumps him up saying he'll break the 160km an hour barrier and all this rubbish, i think it must have some sort of affect on him, he just tries to bowl too fast when he should just be concentrating on taking wickets.

His opening spell was very good and deserved a wicket (or two) so you could say he's bowled without luck, but to be wicketless at this stage as our lead bowler is never a good thing. He has at least looked more dangerous than Siddle though.

The break may have done us some good. We need to keep their confidence and belief down.

The times the Adelaide and Perth Test matches started were all to cater for Melbourne and Sydney viewers. Of course the easiest thing to do is to have the news during the tea break (whatever time that is for you) but this sort of thing has been going on for years, probably since Channel 9 first took over.

Hate to put a downer on everything but we could be in -serious- trouble if we don't strike soon. 1/98 with the captain playing a super knock is a massive concern.

Johnson starting after the rain but you'd doubt he could produce anything like the other night.

Im pretty confident we will win, once we get one of these guys out, we will see the wickets crumble. Kallis is in average form, we get him and they will fall like dominoes.

Some confidence shown in Siddle here to put him on at such a crucial stage. Well hopefully when I come back we'll have taken a couple of wickets.

Graeme Smith makes his first hundred against Australia. Well done Graeme.

If Australia are going to lose to anyone, it should be South Africa, they are a joy to watch and play cricket the way it should be played.

RSA 1/158

Smith 101*
Amla 42*

RSA need 255 runs to win.

Just as I thought unfortunately. Outside of a sudden burst of wickets we are so far on the back foot I can't imagine anything but a Saffer win. :(

EDIT: GOT ONE FINALLY!!!! Johnson strikes -AGAIN-, an unbelievable performance from this young man. Smith gone LBW but it's still an uphill battle.

Just the break through we needed, Kallis has been in pretty average form, made 40 odd(?) i think last innings, so if we get him, we are back on top.

Mitch Johnson has been our hero this Test, has picked up 10 wickets now, our other bowlers need to bowl like him.

FIRE UP BOYS! :D :D
