GG Allin
from Wikipedia: "Allin is best remembered for his notorious live performances that typically featured wildly transgressive acts such as Allin defecating and urinating onstage, rolling in feces and often consuming excrement (coprophagia), committing self-injury, performing naked, taunting people to perform fellatio on him and committing violent actions toward the audience—often doing many of these things more or less simultaneously."

Throbbing Gristle ('80s era, not since the 2004 reformation)
They only ever played 30-something shows back in the day. From Wikipedia: "Throbbing Gristle's confrontational live performances and use of often disturbing imagery, including pornography and photographs of Nazi concentration camps, gave the group a notorious reputation. However the group always maintained that their mission was to challenge and explore the darker and obsessive sides of the human condition rather than to make attractive music. Throbbing Gristle pioneered the use of pre-recorded tape-based 'samples', and made extensive use of special effects to produce a distinctive, highly distorted background, usually accompanied by lyrics or spoken-word performances by Cosey Fanni Tutti or Genesis P-Orridge."

Einstuerzende Neubauten
In 2000 I was in Frankfurt and saw that E.N. was playing a show in Mainz, not far away. I made some cursory enquiries into getting to the show but decided it was too hard. I regret that decision to this day.

Vive la Fête
Discovered this band earlier this year and am absolutely infatuated with the singer

The Cramps
Just 'coz I'm currently "in to" this band, 'coz I finally got around to buying some Cramps albums this year.

Just thought of another, but not sure which concert I'd squeeze out for it...

Rockbitch
from Wikipedia again: "Rockbitch became infamous not only for performing live sex acts, but also doing so with audience members via "The Golden Condom". At a point during its show, a condom was tossed to the crowd and whomever caught it (male or female) was taken backstage for sexual relations with one or more band members."

PS Punky - I ain't really in to GG Allin's music, I'd be going just for the show 8)

The Kinks 65 - 69
The Clash 77
Prisonshake any era
The Who 65 -67
Guided by Voices

Was lucky to see the last band play at the Uni Bar a few years ago and it was easily the best gig I've ever seen (even better than Led Zep at Memorial Drive). By my reckoning the lead singer got through about twenty five cans in the three hours he was on stage and about fifty durries without missing a beat. Legend.

I saw The Hummingbirds with The Falling Joys (91 or 92?) at that club off Hindley Street Proscenium, or whatever it was called at the time. Very good gig. Both bands at the top of their game.

Saw them a few times incl hanging out back stage at their last gig at Lennies! Still have the setlist :) Liked Robyn's stuff with Love Positions and Fragile with Simon Holmes too.
