Paringa boys have been training for 3 weeks.
But I think Christmas might undo all that good work.

No it's not. His name is Jimmie JJ Walker. Now a comedian and radio announcer, he used to work with the Irish writer Frank McCourt (the brother of the bloke who wrote Angela's Ashes).
I think Eddie Murphy used to do imitations of him (based around his big lips) and they had a feud for a while.

On to football talk:

Loxton North had Blake Hentschke and Rhett Davis at training last Wednesday night.
A young fella, last name Norman (?), trained also. Loxton are trying to get him too - seems likely he'll play at Karoonda though.
And whoever said their B grade would be good this year, might be on to something, as the club is confident of significant improvement in 2009.

Also, coach Mac Grummet trying to keep a lid on any recruiting talk. Something in the new year maybe?

And...Loxton possibly looking at another Geppies recruit (not sure how true that one is).

Has Renmark had a chat to the guys working on the Vitality building project who play Div 1 for Salisbury North?
