Wow Newman that is very harsh. I'm new to this site so not sure were you plyed last year or are this year (can't be bothered looking through previous posts if anyone wants to let me know would be appreciated) but slagging off one bloke is just ok but calling your ex teammates a bunch of hacks is ordinary form!

I'd imagine you can go a bit by the sound of your confidence but geez way to paint a target on you!!!

Yeah i'm from Country Vic. I will be playing with Bridgewater this season.

Even more ordinary form then considering he won't be lining up against the "hacks" as he put it.

Obviously a very classy and popular bloke!

don't know about what scott pearling is doing but scott purling wont be going anywhere he is preparing for a big season for the magpies at the moment. Expect big things from purls this year a lot fitter and bigger.

Have Onkas picked up anyone or are they really going down the gurgler?

Devils as strong, Uri's stronger, Hahndorf stronger, Mt Barker seemingly stronger, not much chance for the bottom 5 of last year making any impact.

Your not worth the effort mate. You can say what you like your opinion of me accounts for jack s***t.

Now Now Captain dont get yourself worked up I'm not sure that heart of your can take it. To your first post the term I think you were looking for was loser not looser, I believe looser is a term that could be referred to your defensive skills as a backman and I reckon the reason you didnt see any hard ball gets is because you were either being carried off or in the medical room with career threatening injuries such as koala bites or gout. No one was more embarrassed in winning the B&f than me Captain it really highlighted the some of the pathetic hacks I was playing with including you Captain. This will be the last post directed at you Captain cause I fear the strain is becoming too much for your brittle heart unless something ridiculous comes from your mouth which is highly likely. I wish you good luck watch out for those Koalas I hear they are pretty vicious up in the meadows area and remember cramp is a build up of lactic acid it has nothing to do with your bones.

Please refer to my earlier posts ie. Bridgewater locals treat their new recruits "like turds in a punchbowl'

Ballhog and Newman confirmed.

ps I'll miss watching Newman, he was the only player in that team able to hit a target with any kind of consistency, good luck at Seaton PM say g'day to the Tank for me.

Afternoon All

I'm new to this board as a poster, although I've been a regular visitor over the past 6-12 months.
I've played in all grades in the HFL and think I know a bit about the league and where it's heading.

Given that I've decided to start posting (albeit irregularly), I'd like to make two points:

First, make no mistake, Hahndorf will be the big mover this year. They are well coached and have recruited wisely. I think you'll find there are more names to come. I'm tipping a GF appearance.

Second, the vitriol surrounding the Bridgewater Raiders has me intrigued. Ex players (B&F winner) slagging the club and ex teammates probably reflects worse on the individual himself than the Club.
I've heard that Bridgewater are undergoing a tranformation as a club. New President, Secretary, Treasurer, Football Director and Senior Coaches. I wish them well.

We all wish Bridgewater well, but as good a committee and coaches they may have, there is only one indicator of their progress; that is the number of wins by their A grade team in season 2009; that obviously will be determined by their recruiting.

Marshall is a hack. Says plenty about Bridgewater if he is their B&F!

He will probably try and take over Tank's job at Seaton. Expect Marshall to be A grade coach in 2009.5

So the great man isn't loved by everyone then. Why do you think he is a hack?

By the way, don't confuse being loved by everyone with being loved by the unusually high proportion of Seaton/Portland posters on here.
