Was disappointed in 'Quantum of Solace'. It wasn't a stinker, but certainly not up to the mark of Casino Royale

Anyone seen Ridley Scott's latest...Body of Lies...starring DeCaprio and Crowe.

Saw a brief review on tv and it sounds a bit like Syriana so I'm cautiously optimistic despite not being a fan of the two lead actors.

Not sure if it's been mentioned i watched 'Gone Baby Gone' really enjoyed it, thought there were solid performances from all the main characters whose names escape me at this point in time.
Joaquin Phoenix's younger brother was the main actor and was very believable.

An good watch IMHO.

I saw 007 - Quantum of Solace while overseas, thought it was superb again although they are fast fading the gadgets out of bond movies.

A surprise and one to look for was a movie called Twilight.

Plot is pathetic but it was surprisingly good.

I watched that Die Hard 4.0 on Fox the other night, not bad but you have to turn the brain off for it. I quite like that Mel Gibson movie Apocalypto, went out and bought it recently.

I won both of those "Ozploitation" box sets that have just come out. They're meant to be B grade Aussie films from the 70's and 80's. For anyone that's curious here is whats on them:

Volume 1: The Adventures of Barry McKenzie, The Naked Bunyip, Turkey Shoot, Road Games, Harlequin, Night of Fear, Inn of the Damned.

Volume 2: Long Weekend, The Chain Reaction, Razorback, Stone, Fantasm, Fantasm Comes Again, The True Story of Eskimo Nell.

btw, A fair bit of Bad Boy Bubby was filmed at Port Adelaide.
