Bloody forgot about this game, managed to switch on and catch the last 3 wickets, just in case I never see us dominate like that again ... The boys showing what can happen with a bit of confidence and some steady key players up the top, hope they keep riding the wave for a while to come.

Once again lets get excited about beating a team that has been hopeless in the franger cup for two years.

When we do it againsts the likes of WA and VIC time to get excited, not the NSW 2nd XI
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

:( :( Dont spoil the mood tassie. A win is a win and you can only beat what you are up against whilst they are not the strongest side it was very pleasing to make 285 against what i consider a strong bowling attack that was the biggest positive for me.

That's right, take the win wherever you can. I guess having them 7/64, anything but 2 bonus points would be really classed as a loss. But it was achieved.

We probably should have bowled them out for under 100, but i'll take what we got.

Great win boys, keep it up and follow it up next game.

I'm trying to look it up, it's not easy to find domestic one day records like ODIs.

In the last Australian Wisden published, it says that the lowest score SA has conceded (all out) is 119 by Queensland in 1993/94. Not sure in the 3 and a half seasons since a lower score has been conceded (until tonight).

Sensational news. I just got back from cricket training and turned on the TV. They were showing hi-lights of old WSC games. My initial thought was that Warner must have gone beserk and that NSW had already chased down the 285. Nice to read this thread and see it was SA that demolished a side. Great result :D :D

If this was AFL, the match committee would be working on a new rule to stop it. :)

A point would probably be awarded to teams who had a better run rate than the other, regardless of the result. ;)

Anyway, the SACA website has what you're after HOF, and it actually romps in for a margin by runs:

http://www.cricketarchive.com/SouthAust ... _Runs.html
141 runs v Victoria Adelaide Oval 1997/98 a10997
123 runs v Western Australia Adelaide Oval 1984/85 a4260
115 runs v Central Districts Fitzherbert Park, Palmerston North 1986/87 a5138
114 runs v New South Wales International Sports Stadium, Coffs Harbour 2001/02 a13978
108 runs v Western Australia Western Australia Cricket Association Ground, Perth 2005/06 a17123

And, it's probably not a good statistic, it says that no team has been bowled out for less than 100, so it's likely that the 112 is another record.
