And the flippin crossbar...

United look OK. Just need to tighten up defensively a tad, and perhaps throw on Younis and take off Barbiero....

and before that too.

The second one was a bit unlucky, the first he should've slotted.

Still a sniff boys and girls! We had plenty of it in the first half and a couple of decent chances. It's not beyond the realms of possibility for us to slot one home.

Adelaide have been the better side IMO for all but 10mins.
Is anything wrong with Costanzo ?
He's a terrific defensive midfielder.
Problem with adelaide is the same as the entire A League comp really and thats the final 3rd of the pitch.
Hopefully in the 2nd half they can snatch one or two.

Well, I think Adelaide did a teriffic effort, but those 20 minutes in the mid/end of first half killed us off. Still, very impressed with our side. Go Adelaide!

Well, a much better result than I thought it would be. A bit unlucky not to have scored from one of Dodd's 3 chances (probably should have got the 1st one in). Now United have a very good chance at winning the A-League to look forward to.

United played well tonight. Lucky not atleast take it to extra time. Dodd and robbie Younis's shots were very close in the last 2 minutes.

Best team lost tonight.
Playing games like this can only improve the standard of Adelaide UTD and hopefully the rest of the league to bridge the gap a little.
