Off topic but I was lucky enough to stand on the edge of the MCG centre square with a policeman while EJ done the lap. We were waiting to raise the SA banner, I was on the back rope and just wandered over. The policeman said just stand next to me mate and I did. Great but sad memory. First time I heard KG's call was tonight and I nearly welled up!

Great show tonight, wonderful to hear all the guests acknowledge KG for his wonderful drive time career...

Was a few emotional moments for sure, especially the Ted Whitten one and when he was on the Today Tonight cross...

I thought Leith Forrest did well producing the hectic show and Cornsey's tribute was great. Was a great evening of listening, well done...

Agreed BP.

I didn't get to hear it all, but was lucky enough to hear the Ted Whitton part, and I can remember it all happening as if it was yesterday and I too got a bit teary.

I thought Graham's 'recorded' message at the end was good too.

O:)

I listened to the last hour and it rightly reflected the high esteem that KG is held in by the nations sporting elite. Love him or not, KG is pretty much the most passionate South Australian and Australian around, sticking up for the likes of Warne or Lleyton through thick and thin (and usually in the face of convincing evidence!)... I'll certainly miss driving home listening to him. From all that I've read and heard in the last few months he is a gentleman with integrity and loyalty. A shame AA didn't let him go one more year, but then there can't always be a fairytale ending...

Ditto the anti Rowe comments. I couldn't handle him 5 days a week. If he has his hand up for the job, pick Wildy AA.
