Wasn't this guy meant to be our next gun all-rounder?

I don't even reckon he would make a gun grade cricket all-rounder.

Hands off the Blueboys!! He'll come good. Yeah he got a duck today but he got 38 in the first dig and 2 for 8 with the ball.

Granted Henriques was born in Portugal (although came to Aus as a baby) but Doropoulos was born in Perth. Not sure the point of your post really?

Henriques is a bust.

Henriques is the cricketer from the future. With so much emphasis on 20/20 cricket (due to the money that can be earned), we won't see specialists much any more. Kids will be wanting to become hack "all-rounders" - i.e. someone who can bowl 4 overs of medium crap, and make 50 with the bat. That's the way cricket is headed unless something is done about it very soon.

I agree with you on the teeball aspect of how it will effect the game but I still reckon a lot of people here are selling him short. He has a fair bit of improvement left in his game IMO.
