I gather your not a great fan of D.Dolheguy??

The only fan of D Dolheguy, is D Dolheguy. Just ask him. He'll tell you how good he is.

Sounds like sour grapes to me BC
You don't deem to like any footbller that has some ability
Never seen you play but maybe you don't like anyone that can beat you on the field

Both Shane and David are great guys.
They use to be good footballer but I haven't seen either play for awhile.
I think shane has retired.
But David is still heavily involved in footy.
They have both been tough players and have been an assett to any team they play for.

Not sour grapes at all BBJ. I played with Shane Dolheguy and he was a very good footballer. David on the other hand was not that good a player in my opinion.
As for me not liking anyone that could beat me on the field, if that was the case, I would hate every player that has ever played football. I was a pretty average footballer.

Tend to agree with an earlier comment. One of these two (not sure which one) used his chicken wings too often and thats not tough in my opinion. Just because you hit guys doesn't make you tough. The guy on the end of the chicken wing is the tough one.

sometimes people forget that time goes by! Not sure when Shane dolheguy was a "good" player but it wasn't when he was at Rosewater. Short, fat, slow. Kicked 30 metres with the wind-and that was 2004!. Dave on the other hand - someone should have taken him aside when he was 15 and told him he's not very good - or tough - coz he has spent his career thinking he is!! I have watched a lot of div3,4 over the years and also country footy through my work and div 3,4 is up there with Riverland league. Nettlebeck would struggle in div 3 - can't mark.

It's the age old discussion but I reckon the good RFL teams would be around the top of the table in div. 3, only because the good players are very good, and there are probably more of them than in a div. 3 team. The depth drops away more, however, so a fringe A grader in the Riverland might be a B grader in div. 3.
Don't be scared. Now is not the time!

It was 2003! and that was why I was asking because he didn't look to crash hot, but was told he was a gun back in the day!! The rest of your comment is probably spot on IMO

Stelzers already signed I believe. Might have been formalised though on the weekend.
I know Dempsey was in Renmark on the weekend.
He also signed last year, but ended up playing for Kilburn.

Must be some big bucks geting around up Renmark way. Stelzers would be close to a grand between them each week.

C'mon BC, they'd do it for love.
Like Berri's travelling players ;)

BTW - BM have recruited a ruckman to replace the fella they had last year.

Not much to tell. Cotter's not coming back apparently. Not sure about the others that came up last season - it was suggested they may not be.
The Roos have picked up a high standard ruckman, by all accounts, who has played in the higher divisions in Adelaide's amateurs.
That's what I've been told. Correct, not sure.

He would be welcome back at Berri, but not for coin. Barmera have given him coin so good luck to him.
