Manou's Attitude

Postby NFC » Thu Dec 04, 2008 5:48 pm

Following last nights loss:

"To be honest it's not that big a concern, we've been putting together some consistent performances and always knew at the start of the season there might be ups and downs, and this is out first major down".

So a captain takes a pragmatic view of things instead of slitting his wrists - hardly an issue.

I agree. Couldn't see a lot wrong with Manou's words. I'd much rather hear a sportsman with a positive outlook than a negative one. The time for any negative analysis is well away from the media's pen.

I'm looking him to say something like,

"We were beaten by a better side who had Shane Watson in their team. It was always going to be an impossible task".

Not sure it was piss poor attitude from him maybe a piss poor performance from his team.. As he stated it was a major let down this performance... They will bounce back.. Get cossie in the side instead of cooper...

I want him back in the side but when he deserves it. Right now he needs more runs in grade and Second XI cricket. Hopefully they come soon as an in form Cosgrove would make a huge difference to our batting lineup.

Don't look at me. I don't want him within 100 miles of the team.
