Bit like CoroRamb's captain saying after they had won.... "I am the captain and we are staying out here". In the end his own teams mates had to yell out from the side lines to call it off. Some people just get white line fever I guess. Or maybe he was still pissed off because he didn't get his hat-trick lol.

Wasnt this season meant to be a trial to see how it went? So I guess all you guys get is bragging rights.

We definately tried to win, and we pushed them too. But at least we still had fun doing it. Unfortunately we lost 4 wickets in the middle order which slowed us down. Otherwise we probably would have scored 30 more runs or so.

As for saying we put out an E grade team, well lets have a look:

6 A graders
1 retired A grader from last year
1 B/C grader
3 E graders (all of whom have played A grade in the last 2 years)

So there you go... better team won, both teams gave 100%.

Keep the excuses coming boys. I know I'm not driving to North Haven if it's not serious. I'd rather have a hit at training.

Now don't be like that Bazza, after all it was this post of yours that started it all.... taking the match way out of context.

I think it was a good move by CoroRamb's to bowl their best bowlers in the middle overs. Well done to the skip on that. I do think ICC will roll them though.

Genuinely LOL'd at that comment.

Not that its a big deal, but we've almost learnt the hard way in the past not to go a little bit past the opposition's score, just in case there's issues with the score sheet and it doesn't add up. So the captain thought it might be safer just to bat an extra over.

He asked that we call out when we went 6 runs past, which is what we did.

As I said, no big deal.

Everyone's a comedian on here. You still get a chance to beat us in saturday cricket, but by that time your finals aspirations will be gone and it will only be Mickey Mouse cricket too.

Anyone got anything remotely intelligent to post? JB you are not included.
