so you would expect Jaques, Rogers, North, Shaun Marsh (who was the spare Batsman in india) and Klinger all to be in front Hughes

Hughes > Bradman.

Now your being very very silly

Ok being serious.

Jaques I still rate a lot, and I really don't know why everyone has gone off him. As soon as Haydos goes he probably gets his place because he did very well when he had the job. I'm Marsh's biggest fan but he hasn't done THAT much at state level but I reckon he would shine on the international stage. Klinger is performing exceptionally well but he's still a fair way down the order.

Rogers is there abouts, North no way. I'd say it goes something like this...

Marsh
Jaques
Rogers
Hughes
Kilnger
North

i'd say

North opens? :?
Rogers deserves a chance if an openers spot comes available in the next 12 months depending on how well Jaques comes back from his injury.

Rogers next in IMHO but Hughes to be the next decade long opener, because I can't see any of Katich, Rogers or Jacques playing for more than 4 years or so.

Phillip Hughes has arrived as a player.
He has a facebook page dedicated to his promotion to the Aus team.

Should be on the tour to England at the very least.

Seems the selectors are happy to take gambles on bowlers but not so much on batsmen.

hes out for 114 but it is a pretty poor attack, it dosent compare to his two digs in tasmania on a hard wicket for batting. but i guess you still have to get them
