Younis with a tone, Harris with a 48, Borgas with a very important 60, Ferguson with a ton (finally) and yet another ton to Klinger. Just a pity that Manou is batting at 6. Chritian is a far better batsman than Manou so how he was batting at 8 is beyond me. I'd argue O'Brien is more reliable than Manou as well. Manou is by no means a bunny but he should never ever bat in the top 6.

The only issue i have is that the game should never have been that close. we had them 5/78 in the first dig and they got 352. They also put on 152 for the last 2 wickets in the second dig. Simply is not good enough to allow that to happen.

All that said it was a great win and should give the whole playing group the confidence to move forward believing they can win every game they play.

Sensational win!!!!!!!

Yeah, lower order partnerships for the opposition seem to be a regular problem for us. I hope they can find a way to kill sides off once they get in that position. I think at times we haven't used the right bowlers in those situations, and have probably dropped some catches too, probably through a lack of concentration.

Lets not get negative though. That is a massive win for the Redbacks. I can't remember the last time we were able to chase down a score like that in the 4th innings of a match.
Don't be scared. Now is not the time!

It's funny. If a lower order batsman walks in and cops a couple of short ones, everyone carries on like stuck pigs, so bowlers tend to pitch the ball up. The batsmen get on the front foot and next thing you know they have 30 runs on the board.

You have to attack these guys from ball 1. It doesn't matter if they are bowlers, or where they bat in the order, if they have a bat in their hand they are batsmen. I had no problem copping some short ones when I walked in, it's part of the game.

yes, but at least he is still has a chance to win a bit of silverware for this season. That's more than I can say say for the Redbacks sadly they are still a chance to win some woodenware

The Bulls are dead set ordinary. They won't win squat this season.

Crikey, two days ago people are bagging teh Redbacks like they have all year for being ordinary. Now we get a win we are all over the top of them calling it a "sensational win", a "wonderful effort" and a "great performance".

Lets not carried away huh? We beat last years Shield wooden spooner, so in reality they, statistically, are worse than us.

Lets see how we go against the big boys to see if we have shown any improvement.

Yes its good to win and the signs are encouraging but this team still has a long way to go before it can be called a good 1st class cricket team.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Why is this funny? Do you always laugh at your own corny jokes (using the word loosely)?

 It was tongue in cheek... the day that everyone starts taking posts made on

I have no problem with using the words above to describe that win....

Away from home, chasing 334 on the final day.....

I agree. I think Tassie is reading things into the comments that aren't there.

Besides that, QLD are currently second on the table, 6 points clear of 3rd, with 3 wins out of 5. Seems like reasonable opposition to me
