What a great performance, plenty to celebrate for the lads after that performance and plenty to build on, get their fielding up to scratch and one never knows what lies ahead, well done the Redbacks :D :D :D :D

To chase that target was a wonderful effort that should really give the batsmen some confidence. All batsmen did something this game which is important. Younis with a tone, Harris with a 48, Borgas with a very important 60, Ferguson with a ton (finally) and yet another ton to Klinger. Just a pity that Manou is batting at 6. Chritian is a far better batsman than Manou so how he was batting at 8 is beyond me. I'd argue O'Brien is more reliable than Manou as well. Manou is by no means a bunny but he should never ever bat in the top 6.

The only issue i have is that the game should never have been that close. we had them 5/78 in the first dig and they got 352. They also put on 152 for the last 2 wickets in the second dig. Simply is not good enough to allow that to happen.

All that said it was a great win and should give the whole playing group the confidence to move forward believing they can win every game they play.

People quickly forget the fact that SA didn't actually finish last in the Sheffield Shield last year. We are a lot better this year as well. Time to stop bagging the Redbacks especially after such a good win.

There's still a long way to go yet in the season. Most sides have a chance.

Firstly well done to the redbacks on a well deserved win. However as RR states it should never have been that close as the 8th,9th and 10th wickets put on too many of the runs. That i think was the only negative out of an otherwise very positive step forward for the side.

NFC, you need to accept that most people think Watto is shite. You might disagree but the fact is that most people think the guy is a dud.
