Your Clubs Membership prices for 2009?

Postby TroyGFC » Fri Nov 28, 2008 8:59 pm

What is the prices of membersips at each club for next season? The prices seem to be quiet different and have gone up again for next year. Yes the gate price has gone up to $10 which yes is good value, but I have noticed alot of clubs (Eagles and Port) seem have kept prices down in aid to keep getting new members interested in becoming members.
Also what does your club provide.
Glenelg next season is $150 for full price adult home and away season, cheaper beers and food (5-10% off), free entry to gf celebrations or commiserations.

Crikey. Sturt membership + home & away games was $170 in 2008.

Wow, so far there's a $45 discrepancy at the most with virtually the same package?

I'll have to send a thank you note to North. :D

mmm my idea of getting a home and away tix from another club still has a lot of merit, still be a financial member of GFC but say get a h&A tix from a less expensive club save $$$ and more $$$ with another membership for drinks. Now to find out which club Glenelg play away twice or more (trial games).

I gather the season tix still gets you to one game per round regardless of team?

The cheapest H & A ticket I could find was $80 from Port. Glenelg social membership is $20 = $100. So you're willing to sell your soul and buy a ticket from Port Adelaide. If so unbelievable !

Even if Port was giving them away for nothing I'd tell them to shove it right up their arse and **** off......

Glenelg's does seem expensive.

Oddly enuff GFC's social membership is only $20, which gives % off drinks and food, voting rights at AGM and a sticker (dont get little medallion thingy).

On a similar topic I was wondering if members of other SANFL clubs have received renewels yet or any details on how they can join?
I know in the past I could sign up friends and family with North well before Christmas, it was a great idea for a Christmas present but our renewels aren't going out till next year.
I also did a quick survey of 4 or 5 other club's websites and they seem to have nowhere to join up currently to.
Is this a competition wide issue this year for some reason?
If it is how many members will drop off as a result?

I got my PAMFC renewal at least a couple of weeks ago....

Their website has a link to download a membership form PDF, but no online facility to join if that is what you were looking to find.
