Have you retained most of your team from last year?

How is the recruiting going with all the teams that have nominated for div 7 this year. Also anyone started preseason training yet or starting it before christmas? I know Pines are starting tomorrow down at North Pines on Andrew Smith Drive, Parafield Gardens at about 6.

Got nothin to do with the club, just mates with a couple of the mentioned fellas. They said there is quite a few numbers down there for a div 7 side at this time of year, but there are probably a heap that are just training there because their own clubs havent started yet. Im temped to do the same!

Nth Pines had there 1st training session last night and had close to 30 blokes on the track with a few looking on. Mainly new faces as well so it was very encouraging for all involved at the club.

Are you sure this one was from Houghton? Doesn't sound like anyone who wasn't at our training on that Wednesday night.

Sounds like Artur don't you think Keetchy...... Not exactly a "footy player", but a good guy when he's not losing his shit!! (as he often does).

Cab explained that we have rules in place and those who have committed for the entire preseason would be picked first and Dylan would have to play a few games in the Reserves first. Dylan cracked the sh*ts and said he was too good for the Reserves and left.

Good player, but consistently lazy and selfish in his time at Houghton. It's a shame because his dad, who passed away a few years back, was a prominent and much liked member of the club. I hope Dylan gets more out of himself for you guys next year.

Has Dylan played with you guys for a couple of years or am I thinking of a different Dylan???

You're probably thinking of Dylan Dwyer, but both Dylans have played with us in the last few years.

Not exactly sure what Dylan Dwyer is doing next year, but I do know he's run out of excuses to miss trainings and is probably looking elsewhere to try them on. I think he may head out to Hummocks with a mate.

Yeah that sounds like the Dylan I am thinking off. Thinks highly off himself!

HAHAHAHA Yeah, you're definately thinking of the right Dilsy!! HAHAHAHA THAT'S GOLD! He does love himself a bit, but he's good fun.
He told me a couple weeks ago that he was going to Hummocks, but you can't be certain with that kid. Only time will tell. Won't be at Houghton though. As you said Keetch, he's used up all of his excuses!

As I've stated before he's pretty much irreplaceable, not just because of his potential but because he plays for free.

We'll work with what we've got. Hopefully Brett Whales has another year with us, he could slot in nicely down there.

Not lookin good on that one Keetch. Shaun is the only factor that I could possibly see keeping him there for another year.

Yeah I know, was having a few beers with him and Jono after the cricket on Saturday, he wasn't overly enthusiastic about playing footy at all. Shaun and his missus are having are kid, maybe that will sway Fish to stick around.

I see you're stealing someone else's internet connection again :))

He did look quite fit...how old is the great man now? Does he just sit in a pocket these days or is he still dabbling in the guts from time to time?
