Very good question. Look forward to the answer. Suffice to say he has not turned out to be the development coach that MacGowan thought he was.

Yes, I know Cass has gone back to Prospect to be an assistant to Heals, I was more implying the role he played with Centrals this year as an assistant, along with Chappy, to Roy Laird.

Would think they were a better combination than what Sturt had this season just gone, the proof is in the pudding. Will be interesting to see who the new assistants will be for Roy in season 09 ???

So Paul Jarvis has been annouced Under 18's coach of Sturt...

Is that all 9 clubs that have now announced their Under 18's coach for the debut of the new format in the SANFL for '09 ?

Big Phil, Chris Brown is the Sturt Under 18's coach for 2009, I dont know where you got Paul Jarvis from?

Sorry Kookas, I did know that Chris was the coach of the 18's, I just got a bit confused for a minute...

I thought these posts from back in this thread said that Paul Jarvis will be reserves coach, that's where his name came up.

no official announcement has been made yet as far as I know, they did start pre-season last night so something should come through real soon.

paul jarvis is the sturt reserves coach..
have heard a rumour that ben eckermann has retired from football and is gonna stay on with the club as reserves runner for next season.

So whatever happened to Seamus Maloney??
Putney Magpies Aussie Rules Football Club, London. The most social footy club outside of Australia with 3 teams competing in the AFL London competition, covering all levels of skill and ability.
