Excellent day had by all, all the new blokes inc. Payney will fit in amazingly well down at the Lodge.

Great vibe at the place, bring on '09!

Looking from the outside in and reading some of the posts on here, I'm amazed at the players that seem to be flowing out to play at Brahma Lodge. Can anyone tell me how this has occured ? Is it the new coach ? Is there plenty of money available ? Is it the lure of playing with mates ?

Choccies - I think its a mixture between option 1 and 3 with a tiny(i think far smaller then most people are thinking). It sounds like a few have followed the coach out....and having spoken with him a few times i can tell he is a good bloke and can see why people would follow him. Also after meeting a few of the new players i can see that they are good blokes who are easy to get along with also and can see why they would want to stay togeather with friends.

Thanks EdV. Lets hope it can turn the club around a little. Have played against them for years and from the outside I would have to say I couldn't have imagined it being the best place to go get a kick and to take the family but hopefully things head in the right direction for BL. Sounds like the positive attitude is there and thats a good start !!

At least you might see what a park looks like now (Hint - it is made of grass, not sand)
