Which is the number one gaming console?

I have played all three, XBox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii.

They are all great consoles but out of the three, i would have to say that the Playstation 3 is the best.

Im not sure how to vote, Wii is the most revolutionary and best value but the PS3 is by far and away the best bit of hardware.
It also depends what audience you're catering for.
Ive got a Wii but would love a PS3.
Im not sure if its still the case but the PS3 not even taking into account its great gaming ability has been rated by many magazines the best value Blue Ray player.

But have picked WII just because all my friends rave about it.
And my kids are hasseling me for one

We bought the Wii yesterday, more for the family type games than anything else. Mrs Smac is a Mario addict, which helped gain approval for the grant as she is the finance minister.

We have a WII at our nursing home.

It brings tears of laughter to the residents.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS for the kids/young family get together.

As good as the piano of yesteryear.

As a true gaming machine, I become bored with it quickly....

It Depends on what your looking for.

I expected more from PS3....

For me its the computer.....

I have both and I reckon the WII for the games and Wii fit - the balance board rocks... (also Ive lost 10 ks in 10 weeks using it as a Personal Trainer) and the PS3 is sweet for the hard-drive and love the singstar game on that one... also the ability to network with your home pc is great... now able to watch all the trial movies stored on the pc straight on the plasma from the hard drive ..... cool

I voted on the wii because i own one and find them great to play. But The dreamcast wins hands down. It was one of the first to have online gaming in a console. Sega screwed up by killing the satin before its time due to poor sales in the US. Overall this is what hurt the Dreamcast
