Pathetic, pathetic attendance.

And Johnson's wicket to dismiss Flynn was magnificent!!!

He produced a few standout deliveries today. If only he could get the seam position right for swing, he'd put himself right in that upper echelon of bowlers going around today.

Why does Clarke need to bat at number 3???????????

Why doesn't he have to bat at number 3?

Partly because he doesn't need the added pressure and also because he is quite vulnerable early on. Hussey is more likely to bat there over clarke.

Ponting has done a great job at number 3 over the years. Number 3 is a tuff gig you need to be at the top off your game he has not for the last year.

What a sh1t attendance for this match, this makes the game boring to watch when you have an empty stadium.

Kiwis have got no stars and ranked 7th in the world people want to see a contest. They do play good 1 day cricket.

So now you are writing Ponting off? He's still one of the best batsmen in the world, and the best in our team so he should stay at 3. Gee there are some extremely fickle sport fans out there with very short memories.

I would have had Katich, but 9 wickets is a fine effort from Johnson.

Now thats how a cricket test match wicket should play.Definately both teams could have scored descent totals, obviously something there for the bowlers, and definately something there for the spinner.
I feel though Australia still have some worries with there batting,id like to hear others thoughts on Marcus North the WA captain and does anyone no his age.I think himself and S.Marsh have to be very close,Krezja has to be in the 11 no matter were we play for at least the short term anyway.Ozzy selectors have some big decisions to make before the ashes next year but the big question is do they have the balls, and the other one get rid of Haddin go for a young Keeper who cares if he dosnt make runs we need a keeper for the next 8 yrs or so.

What a crock of 5hit. Two of his nine wickets were Chris Martin for a start. The Kat was the man of the match.
