Are you sure this one was from Houghton? Doesn't sound like anyone who wasn't at our training on that Wednesday night.

Dylan played Seaton C Grade this year after coming out to our training two weeks out from the first round and demanding that he play A Grade. Cab explained that we have rules in place and those who have committed for the entire preseason would be picked first and Dylan would have to play a few games in the Reserves first. Dylan cracked the sh*ts and said he was too good for the Reserves and left.

Good player, but consistently lazy and selfish in his time at Houghton. It's a shame because his dad, who passed away a few years back, was a prominent and much liked member of the club. I hope Dylan gets more out of himself for you guys next year.

You're probably thinking of Dylan Dwyer, but both Dylans have played with us in the last few years.

Not exactly sure what Dylan Dwyer is doing next year, but I do know he's run out of excuses to miss trainings and is probably looking elsewhere to try them on. I think he may head out to Hummocks with a mate.

wattle if ovies nominated two sides A and B grade then saafl will put them in div7 but if they only nominated 1 team then itll be different. so find out how many teams they have put in for on the nom paper that they had to do b4 oct30 and that should get you an answer from the club....hope this helps you

That doesnt make a great deal of sense bomber. What if 16 teams nominate for Div 7? Does that mean it will be a 16 team comp?

well it does if you think about it, as div 7 is normally an A grade comp so dont go by this years div 7. the a gr and b grade teams of div 7 and lower will be the first option, remember most of the sides this year were c and d grades henley athelstone etc so i doubt there is 16 Aand B grade sides left after div 7. they would only need 8 which wouldnt be that hard but as ive said before there is plenty of other options with c1 down. maybe a c6 for the teams with a d grade if there is too many teams
