i can confirm that Ryan Mckee and Travis Mckee will be playing at Brahma lodge next year. Believe they are both excited about playing with some mates and looking forward to keeping brahma lodge moving forward. Also just to clarify travis mckee will be the ruckmen and ryan mckee should play as a rover/centermen. Lightning quick. Should have no effect for eastern park as one only played 4-5 a grade games and the other didn't play at all. Anybody know anything about these two players?

even better news for The lodge last night - Browny signed his contract - he gets 2 pies, steak sanga & a diet coke per game - it increases to 2 steak sangas if he actually plays A Grade :D

Does the diet coke come deep fried??!!

Look forward to playing them this season.

I guess this depends if individuals put themself before the team....there is no reason why any of the players from last year cant train and be in the side again this year...maybe it will put pressure on them to train harder and get fitter so they are chosen in the best 21 rather then simply in the only 21 available?

By the looks of it there seems to be a group of mates going to The Lodge so they will just need to mix with the current group - it isnt like there are a heap of new blokes that wont know anyone - so I would think that would make it a bit easier

Think ur right Pag. However these two will carve it up in div 6. Brahmas will be very hard to beat. Large group have come in but they are mostly mates and will have no problem gelling with the rest of the brahma lodge boys as they are all good blokes.

Lodge will win the div 6 flag unless the boys choke.

It would be easier to gel the squad assembling than the previous teams at Brahma Lodge.

I remember Colonel Light Gardens,Greenacres,University, and even Geelong being touted as flag winners before last season as well.No doubt they seem to be getting some players in and will be around the mark and good luck to them, bit of pressure on the boys now to perform.

i still think paralowie will be very good as well as lockleys but with who the tigers have picked up they will be a very good side i heard they signed another 2 big boys on thursday to go with the few they have already got plus a proven coach that can turn the table ,i think they would have to give it a good shake.

Its amazing on this forum...you would think that every player in every team is receiving some form of payment for playing...why cant anyone believe that some people simply play for the sake of playing and so they can play with their mates?

Im sure some of the new players for the lodge are getting some form of payment but i think it would be foolish for anyone to think that every player who has signed has done so because they are on a cash payment.

I hope this kind of talk rages around the players the previous coach has taken with him.

And all the talk of BL winning a flag ra ra ra in November is just downright strange....if BL didnt loose 6 key players at the start of last season to work and other commitments im sure the season would have panned out different. You just never know who is going where and how those teams will gel...there is so much more to playing good football then just throwing a bunch of guys togeather. As a player at the lodge sure i would love to see the team pick itself up from the last couple of years and perform well on Saturdays but i wont know the answer to this along with the rest of you guys until the start of April next yeah...the the BS stops and the scores do the talking.

Do you normally change the subject completely mid sentence?
We've even given him a pay rise for 2009, but you'd already know that right?

Hopefully BL learn from CLG and realise you can't always buy premierships. Must have been an expensive year down at Mortlock, what with all those player payments, plus 2 home finals

As far as player payments are concerned, I have it on good authority that the two boys that signed on (mcKee bros) are getting next to nothing to play. Want to play with their mates and Payney not to mention eachother and dont care about coin. many of the boys that have gone there are in a similar boat so you can dismiss the bucket loads of cash theory....
