Will they be enough for Renmark to win the flag or will waikerie do their usual trick and just fork out big $$$ as Roo wont be playing, Kellor to BDT I believe and couple of their stars are starting to age.

I believe one Steltzer if not 2 are on their way, apparently more were to follow...

Can anyone shed some light on the matter??

Liquid, Local papers have stelzers signed to renmark. Any names on who the others might be? Are the others going to renmark as well or another Riverland club?

Slapsy, couldnt tell you unfortunately, just big rumours around the BLG finals time that they were on the recruit for players to go with them. S Gibson was one mentioned (from Nuri), but as for the rest I cant help you out sorry, which is why I was asking...

Matt Steltzer just could be your Mail Medalist this year, quality player!

I'd say if Gibson plays, he will be at Waikerie. He's an ex Waikerie player and from what I have been told, his brother Chris will be back playing for Waikerie this year.

I might be confused between the names but I hear only one is definately going. The other (Matt) I think has opened a gym in Gawler and is likely to stay in the Barossa.

It would seem the local rag might have got it wrong. Is this the same local rag that has a couple of posters on here?

If that's the case, Ben Cousins is coming to Berri next year.
He wants to challenge Saf for the beep test title.
That should sell a few!

He would not get close to Saf in the beep test. If he did, Saf would probably retire. It'd destroy him I reckon. It would be the first time in his life he was no longer the fittest man in the world.

Taylor GC's 17
M Steltzer 16 Newberry 16
Greenwood 14 Heberle 14 C McClean 14

Spot on... some say very unlucky, although Taylor was a worthy winner!

Something needs to seriously go wrong with the oval for it to not go ahead. Went down Wednesday night and did a bit of a clean up of change rooms etc, for the inspection today. Some feral has gone and spray painted the wall on the grandstand and hopefully has been painted over by now. I'd love to find out who the maggot was.
