Agars came second in the Loftys B grade goal kicking last yr, unfortunately missed many games through injury and didnt play many games is a hahndy forward flanker with a good leg.

Jimmy Warburton hasnt played footy for a couple of seasons but i believe he captained loftys under 17s side which won the flag and represented the hills also at under 17 level if he can get his body right he can be quite a damaging player provides good run from defense and has a good overhead grab

Very good pick ups for Echunga. Warby is he gets right will be a good player, i reckon could be an excellent tagger or backline player. Agars would cause headaches in a forward position if he actually commits, and maslin is a great pick up. Unlucky not to play A's more often due to mt loftys strong midfield but was a cut above the rest in B grade and would expect him to do very well. A class player

would like to see Agars put on a bit of bulk, could become very damaging if he did.

need to get Warby out of the bridgy pub & away from the buck hunter machine, these blokes would add depth to echunga's 2's.

Bookie - what about S Maslin? surely he is the pick of the bunch.

Haha nah his brother played mostly C grade for Lofty this year & the odd stellar appearance for Kersbrook when he wants to

Correct weight on S.Maslin being a handy pick-up if this is all true, reckon he'd run amok in Country A's... he tore it up the B's Qualifying Final this year against the Thunderers, was probably the difference in that game... would have been nursing a serious case of sherrinitis that night!

Well then he is the one I'm thinking of. Would be a more than handy inclusion for the Demons.

Great player, great mover through traffic with good skills. Would have played in any other central A grade side. Unlucky not to be playing in the devils line up.

I dont think he will leave. Required player and will definately get more opportunity.

Also believe at least 3 Ironbank juniors are heading to Echunga for 2009. Be interesting how well these clubs handle preseason could be more moving?

On a bright note Strop seems to be doing the right thing for the club. Although O'knowledgeable one is causing issues and really needs to get out of the pub for Marion to go forward.

All I know is that Echunga Has had 5 Clearences Come in over this years off season, No One cleared as of yet, and I would not know who the names are except that they were all under 21. This is all I have been told from my end. I would say Mt Lofty are alway happy to accept players from Echunga but when they have tried to come back, they normally knock back the clearence.

yeah but every club would readily accept players and of course they will knoch back clearances... what else would you expect them to do?

think there might be some clearances late in the preseason. my mail is rowsell WILL be going back to pt lincon next year in may. think he'll ask for a clearance before then and play for his old team from june onwards

S Maslin is a superb player ... sickening injury due to a team mates errant kick in the grand final prolly cost the Devils the premiership in the B-grade  . gotta say Echunga look like they are getting a fair crop of talented youngsters all they need is a strong marking forward and they would be pushing for that top three spot which has eluded them the past few years. No doubt they'll have the talent.

Echunga are in discussions with the son of a Magarey Medallist. No offer has been put on the table yet, but he would be handy running off the half back flank.
