So i assume when Sat/Sun Finals come around, u will only want to play on one of the days and have a replacement for the other? Suppose you may be forced to by then with footy trials.

Understand A&EH are the only comp that will suspend players who won't make themselves available for association matches. Ben Judd who is a firey, and has to work some Saturdays, had to get a letter from him his work last year to make himself unavailable for association last year. If he didn't A&EH were going to fine Wistow and suspend Judd!

If ya Dont like the Rules then play somewhere else then. Simple.
Also you've got to remember that these rules are voted on by ALL CLUB DELEGATES so if these rules are put in place then presumably it's with the blessing from the majority of clubs.
If you want the rules changed then get on your clubs committee and have YOUR SAY!

Im not saying I dont like the rule... i just thinks its unfair on some blokes that have families etc. that would like a weekend off during the season. I loved playing meyer shield myself but i know a couple of blokes who it would be pretty unfair on.
