Berri trained again last night. Captain Peter Safralidis donning the heartrate monitor. Funny thing is, it didn't detect a pulse, thus confirming the man is a robot. A MACHINE.

He's the fittest bloke I've ever seen at the club since I've been involved. By a mile.

Why put the heartrate monitor on him? Put it on some of the lazy bastards at training to highlight what they have to do to get to Saf's level.

Saf wouldn't let anyone use his heartrate monitor. That'd be like a normal person loaning someone their girlfriend.

Also, bit hard to say lazy bastards are training, when it is in fact November. Great effort for them to be out there this time of year I reckon. The lazy one's won't be out until a week before footy season starts.

Maybe I'll rephrase lazy to "the blokes who need some extra work"

New coach got anything to do with that after Ditts had only 1 year in the job. Not the smartest move I wouldn't have thought as he had good rapport with a lot of the players and would no doubt be doing a bit on the sponsorship side too.
Some of those rumoured to be leaving would be???

i heard from a very very solid source he hasnt paid his sponsorship money yet. plus DW makes a good point about the swearing. on the few occasions we saw him this year he was not the best roll model for those around him.

I was told there'll be a reduction in gambling and drinking too!

Swearing and footy clubs go hand in hand but there is a fine line. Surely they warned him early on and if he proceeded to keep doing it then this is the result. Cant totally blame Paringa then as if some are being put off by swearing it will reduce their numbers and they probably need all they can get.

Wouldnt like thier chances of getting their sponsorship now though!

I only saw him in action once last year and it wasn't a problem that day although they were giving the opposition a fair touch up.

In defence of Ditty, he was a great bloke this year to have around the club.
Saturday nights at the pub were fantastic when he was around.

But as far as his swearing goes, he did go over the top quite regularly, often while kids were around. He was warned by the committee and did improve by the end of the season.

It is my understanding that the committee wanted the club to head in a new direction.
They are hoping that Arrod's appointment will bring back a lot of the old names associated with the club such as the Frahns, Courtneys etc.
Over the past couple of years, these families have been alienated by the club and coaches' decision making (not just Ditty).

Ditty did a great job with what he had to work with last year, considering he was only getting a handful of blokes to training each week.
But I think Arrod will bring a fresh and young attitude to the club, especially with some of the players he's bringing with him.

The mid word swear is a massive indicator as to whether you're an Aussie bloke or not.

I was lucky enough to be at Renmark during that period DW! But that was a major factor in me going there.

Ditty did swear abit but it is not onlyParingaa with swearing coming from the coaches box and coaches during the breaks.

I reckon 90 % of the clubs out there would be quilty of it.

The swearing doesnt only come from the coaches in the box but the players, trainers, runner, water boys and team managers are all guilty. All clubs should look at there support staff.

The players on the field are often heard swearing by spectators and you only have to be close to any change room and you will hear F---ck clearly.

It seem Ditty might have got a rough deal
