Does anyone know why teh foxtol would suddenly stop working through my VCR, but works fine directly through my tv? its wierd..
was working fine no problems then all of a sudden real scrambled but workls fine when i put it into tv..

could it be the red yellow white cables or the vcr?

What is on the TV when you have Foxtel going through the VCR? Nothing? Bad signal? Blue screen?

Make sure you have the correct "input" selected on the VCR for the Foxtel.

If you have a DVD player, plug that into the VCR in place of the Foxtel and see if that works.

its a combined dvd n vcr..
it was working fine then all of a sudden i got a real scrambled picture...
u could barely see anything, u can kinda see the image int eh background but its all black and swirly etc.. like ya got real bad reception
but straight into tv works fine

Just get something else to plug into it - like a PS2 or other game device, or a video camera, or something - doesn't matter as long as it produces a picture.

IDea is to get a different source besides FOXtel to plug into it, to see if it's fuzzy/not working - then you'll know if the issue is the FOXtel box/cable, or the cable going to the TV from the DVD/VCR.

Or, if it's just **** in general.
