THIS IS OLD NEWS. IM NOT SURE THERE GOOD ENOUGH TO CUT IT IN DIV 1 ANYWAY. WILLASTON WILL BE ABLE TO COVER THEM.

I think Chris is a little better than most at Willaston....

I think he will make it a Div1 level...

He might be a little better than most at willaston but they finished 7th last season. There both small onballers and im not sure they are good enough to cut it. To small!!!

Chris will definately make it at Div 1. where he lacks in height he makes up for it in skill and courage... he will rattle a few cages in the Divvy 1's this year that is for sure...

i was speaking to an angaston football club commitee man on the weekend and he said that hadden still would have got the job even if johnson did apply. aparently entusiasm can only get you so far, at the end of the day you need a tactical brain on match day to win games and especially to win premierships. i understand this is the reason they didnt want johnson to continue, they felt he couldnt take them any further.
can anyone from angsaton on this site confirm this. i understand johnson hasnt won a premiership at any club he has been to.

What makes you think those clubs might be interested? Wouldn't touch them with a 40ft barge pole.

Which BL&G club has thrown the whole f'n kitchen (sink included) at a young Centrals player but failed miserably?

I played under Johnno a couple of years ago at Golden Grove...

Interesting coach, we only won 2 games and took out the wooden spoon...

Has had more clubs than Greg Norman I reckon...

Surprised there seems to be no recent mention of the Stelzer boys leaving BD. It has been reported in the local Riverland paper they are heading to Renmark today. By all reports they are highly rated.

I have been told (second hand, but I believe it too be fairly accurate) that they have both signed elsewhere...

Barossa District will be struggling without them, along with Thomas, James and perhaps one or 2 more...

And agree, both quality young men!
