Mac is correct. It is also the first season of the VFL and the first season that the SAFA (SANFL) had the electorate(district) system.

Honourable mention to Charlie Payne, who played in Essendon's 1962 and 1965 premiership sides and joined North Adelaide in 1973 - a bit unlucky.

I did answer an existing question correctly, it was your question about the 8 Sturt premiership players (see above).

No, Geoff Strang is correct. Played for Richmond 1967 & 1969 and North Adelaide 1972.
