Lifetime Magarey Votes

Postby Groucho » Thu Nov 13, 2008 10:37 pm

Spelly, Would you know who has the most lifetime Magarey Medal votes from Centrals?

My guess would be John Platten or one of the Gowans (probably James).

Thanks

Lindsay Head may have accumulated a few.
We may find someone who never won the medal came close often enough to top the tally too.

If we are talking overall aswell Im thinking Peter "Super" Carey & Ralphie "Zip Zap" Sewer would have to be up there purely on amount of games played.

Barrie Robran up until he was injured averaged just over 1 vote per game.
I remember reading somewhere that Lindsay Head has the most overall, but they have been an old book.

What's Barry Northsworthy's total spelly? I remember he came second to Ebert in 76 with what would have usually won the medal. (26??)
