Mypolonga will get Rhys Jordan (brother of David Wallfied) from Callington, very good addition

Can cross that rumor off, the Ebert you are talking about is Daniel and he has signed with Uraidla so i find this rumor hard 2 believe.

Ricky is the best of the three Ebert boys i would be very surprised if he left north adelaide a very prmosing young footballer.

They probably could rename Uraidla as the "North Scott Uraidla Adelaide Sutherland" boys club.
There are more ex NAFC players there than still at Prospect. Just as well the salary cap is a toothless tiger, or the points just don't add up!
Now that is just plain dumb, don't you think?

heard brendon ward from kangarilla in the hills has been aproached by mannum. he's a burly player who can play both ends of the ground as key defender/forward. pinch hit in the ruck a couple of times this year... hard to believe south adelaide passed him up. huge addition to the RMFL and mannum!

Why would he want to stay, if he has a brand new job doing what he wants to do going would be the smartest thing.

and i might just add with Button, Morris, Matthews and Machetti out for next yr i dont think they will be as great as 08

I don't there's any doubt about that whatsoever. Probably 4 of their best 6 or so players there. If Viney went too, as has been rumoured in the past, they will be right back in the pack, but with good depth they should still be a top 3 contender.

Has it been confirmed that Matthews has left, and if so, where will he be playing next year?

Heard this one a while ago, but wasn't gunna post it, until now. Michael Sumner will in fact be playing for Tailem Bend next season, as he tried to last year. He attended an Imps preseason session and told them his intentions of moving on last week and I spotted him training with Tailem lads tonight on my jog.

So with Sumner up forward, Muffy in the middle, the experiance of exSANFL footballers Radar and Bell and the young gun 18 year old best and fairest Hogarth floating through the middle, perhaps Tailem will be the big movers in 09?

All the better for a stronger more competitve league. Now if only we can hear some promising news from Meningie....

Sumner will need to get cleared first, and judging by past experience that may not be easy.

I think Tailem will need some big key forwards too to be truly competitive with the top 4 or so clubs.

He would be a great option considering he has played under Fielke for all the time Fielke has been at the club. He also has the best playing record currently in the RMFL.Brad Martin may be on his way up North for work prospects so you may find thats where he will play footy if thats true.

Would he be popular with other player's at the club though? And best playing record? I'd say if Muffy comes back to the league, as rumoured, he would well and truly bypass Garratt's record.

wouldnt have thought he would be that popular with the other players at the club

Rumour has it that they threw a heap of cash at a Kangarilla forward recently but couldnt lure him away from down south..Will be interesting to see how they go next year..
