That KG   said klinger is a shite player who can not play 550 odd runs later. That why I wonder 5AA is parting ways because he losing the plot.

I always throught klinger is a great player but need to leave Victoria earlier because the trouble he went throuh early in hus career.

Klinger never recovered when his then victorian captain declared when he was on 99* and yet to have a first class hundred on debut. It took him years to get over and get the monkey off his back. Good to see him doing so well for the redbacks, hopefully he finishes the year the way he starts

A double ton is there for the taking for Klinger. What a start to the season he is having.

Great to see Borgas make a ton as well. We've been in positions this year to make decent totals but too often the guys who have made starts haven't gone on with it. Good to see 2 blokes make tons even though it was at snails pace. Should give the whole side some confidence going forward. We really do need to have a batsman at number 6 though. It is such a glaring weakness that needs to be addressed.

I agree FS i think if we can get 100 ahead and declare and have 45 minutes at them tonight we are a chance of getting the outright, fingers crossed.

Points in the bank now though that is nice to see.

exactly the glass is definately half full not empty. We are still a chance if we can get quick wickets and actually finish a tail off... DC is confident and getting some turn and bounce and ya never never know :?

If we dont then o well we got 2 points and made 300 easily and some of our blokes went on with there starts

Fixed when Khan plays from 4 down drop down one. o'brian unlucky but he needs to bat at six or move way for khan.

When cossie scores consistant that is when he will play. I think they are making him hurt so he don't make the same mistake again.

his aggregates for the vics were not outstanding but solid. Starved of opportunity and Imagine if he knocked back SA. He would be banished to Melboure Grade Cricket and possibly never to play 1st class cricket again

Good post. We can't expect the side to be world beaters overnight but we have seen a fair bit of improvement so far this year. The more confidence the players get the faster they will improve. Some positive signs for sure.

Brilliant by Klinger, what a champ.

What will we do here? Go the bash, try and get a bit of a lead then send them in tonight?

edit: Woops, didn't see the post above suggesting the same.

It's the only hope we have of taking all 6...

get to 360, 50 in front then have a crack. Judging by their current scoring rate it will take them most of the session to get that  and leave a possible tough half hour for our western friends

Oh well at least he didn't make a start and then get out...

It's an ordinary looking batting lineup now, hopefully Manou can score a few runs. If Klinger gets a double ton or Manou a quickfire 20-30.. at least we have a bit of a lead and can push for an outright.
