Top 3
Colonel Light Gardens - if they retain most of 08 squad will be contenders. could go out in straight sets again though
Brahma Lodge - good coach and some key signings will see them right up there. could well be sending edwardstown a few slabs come september
Lockleys - good fast young team, a few key position players would top them up nicely. almost certain for 9 wins at home

Fighting for 4th and 5th spot
Hectorville - need to start getting more from younger players instead of relying on neagle, jb and stephenson. Time is nearly up for those three
West Croydon - new coach, plus bryant and woodcock - can beat anyone when they're on song, especially at home.
Paralowie - not too sure about the roos, haven't seen much of them. should be confident after winning the Div 7 flag. will be competitive and push for a top 5 spot
Trinity OS - hurt by injuries last year. young side. the addition of zorich will improve them and should be looking to play finals after a reasonable debut in Div 6 in 08.

Not too sure on these ones - someone has to finish bottom 3, right?
Glenunga - Need to recruit heavily and build some depth. B grade was woeful and they had no one to call up when injuries called for replacements. Will win their fair share of games at home.
Henley - No idea? Could still be Houghton if Henley don't nominate. A strong Div 1 club with good depth and could surprise
Central United - appear to be on the slide and will probably struggle again this year. looking to rebuild no doubt. do have a good history of playing finals though

There you have it, my predictions for Div 6 season 2009. These predictions are based on what I've seen, what i've heard, and what I think. An opinion is neither right or wrong

That's the pot calling the kettle black. Besides Moon how many young contributors did Hope Valley have over the past couple years?? I'd say Zero.

Stupid??- besides the three youve mentioned we only have one other guy in our A grade over the age of 25- so you pull your head in pal! Anyway you should be thanking us for handing you third spot

Enough to get us into Div 5 which is more than your old timers could do. Good luck in Div 6 champ. Hope your foot is better this year so your "young" side can finish 4th again. And you're right, Moon is the only young contributor we've had over the last couple of years  All the rest are well into their thirties. pffft, Such an old group, should all be playing C grade really...

Not just 3rd spot, a higher division. And if you call "handing us" third spot, losing to a completely understrengthed Trinity side - well then I guess we accept your handing over, because Trinity found it funnier than we did!!

perhaps if four of your a grade werent out all night leading into the trinity game you may have beaten them, and kept the double chance.(season runs over 18 weeks and double chance is decided then not after 17 games) then you would have had the chance to beat westminster on their home ground in the finals, oh i forgot you did and lost by nearly 15 goals

all you hopevalley boys are the same on here, you take something small that some1 says then all of you just write comments and back eachother up. And not saying that heccies have a young team??? in the last match there were 9 teenagers playing, 2 missed out due to injury. And 5 under 23.
